This soft and fine yarn is precious and it is known as "cashmere" or "Golden Fleece", it is not other than the undercoat of a rare goat found in the Gobi desert, located in northern China and the southern part of Mongolia. Manual combing begins in late Spring, so that the best fleece is obtained. In the selection of the thread, thickness and length of every individual hair is considered. The more the fiber is fine and long. The more thinner and more resistant the yarn will be.
Cashmere, in fact, is by definition a fiber that is wavy and dull, "duvet", it is then washed, carded and then spun, ready to be then a work of art.
